Electronic Technician I - 3rd Shift

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following is a list of minimum responsibilities related to the Electronic Technician Level 1 position. Other duties may also be assigned.

• •Efficiently respond to line calls and conduct PMs on a regular basis.
• •Always maintains safe work practices.
• •Must be competent in troubleshooting all equipment on site with the use of electrical schematics and blueprints.
• •Evaluate equipment malfunctions with a sense of urgency to minimize downtime.
• •Must be able to maintain a log/work sheet of equipment repairs and problems.
• •Must be competent in the use of all plant electrical test equipment.
• •Must be able to set up line equipment and vision systems in accordance with a Master Production Record.
• •Able to follow and understand production procedures, good documentation practices, and Work instructions.
• •Setup, maintain and troubleshoot Cognex Vision Systems.
• •Setup, maintain and troubleshoot Systech Serialization Systems.
• •Install or assist in the installation of new equipment, including proper layout and alignment.
• •Must assist all other maintenance personnel in the event of a major plant breakdown.
• •Must be able to work overtime on weekends.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Direct reports if any and the level of supervision.

PREFERRED / REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• •An Associate’s Degree in Electronics.
• •Experience with PLC programs.
• •Experience with Vision inspection systems and control circuits.
• •Strong troubleshooting skills.
• •Experience with Robotics and programming is a plus.
• •Knowledge of National Electrical Code.
• •Experience adhering to CGMP regulations.
• •Have good communication skills oral and written.
