Job Summary

Plumbing, Cooling & Electrical Nerds is a trusted home services company known for quality workmanship and reliable solutions. We are hiring an Electrical Installer to execute pre-sold electrical installations with precision, efficiency, and professionalism across the Naples, Fort Myers, Cape Coral, and Bonita Springs area. This role is focused on installation: completing the job as specified, to code, and to a standard the customer is glad they paid for.

Responsibilities

• •Complete pre-sold electrical installations, including panel and sub-panel replacements, generators, EV chargers, surge protection, lighting, and rewires, per job specifications
• •Test all installed electrical components and circuits to verify proper operation before leaving the job site
• •Follow the National Electrical Code along with local and state requirements on every installation
• •Collect payment in full at the time of service and follow company procedures for processing transactions
• •Use proper safety equipment and follow OSHA and company safety guidelines on every job
• •Complete detailed job summaries covering work performed, equipment installed, and any issues encountered
• •Document pre-installation and post-installation conditions with clear photos uploaded to the job record
• •Confirm all job materials are on hand and report shortages to the warehouse or manager in advance
• •Track and report any warranty issues or recalls so they are resolved on time
• •Stay in communication with the Install Coordinator throughout the day on job progress and completion
• •Provide professional, respectful service and explain key details of the installed system to the customer
• •Work effectively with install crews and other team members to complete larger projects on schedule
• •Complete installations within the scheduled timeframe while holding quality standards
• •Complete the inspection with the assigned inspector and get the job signed off before leaving the site
• •Keep tools, equipment, and the company vehicle organized, clean, and in proper working condition
• •Attend weekly training and stay current on new technologies, updated codes, and best practices

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• •Electrical installation experience, either professional or through a technical/trade school
• •Working knowledge of residential electrical systems and code requirements
• •Ability to read and follow job specifications, permits, and scope details accurately
• •Clean and safe driving record; must be insurable
• •Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• •Honest and ethical
• •Positive attitude and a genuine drive to keep improving
• •Good personal hygiene

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• •Considerable physical activity, including walking and standing for lengthy periods of time
• •Lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, squatting/kneeling, crawling in tight spaces, and reaching/grasping
• •Roughly equal time spent indoors and outdoors, with exposure to hot or cold temperatures for one or more hours at a time
