• As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be a core member of the Ring Poland development team. Ideal candidate would be passionate about building IOT products and AI. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.

• About the team
• We are developing firmware for Ring and Blink cameras.

Basic qualifications

• - BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• - Software development experience
• - Extensive experience in computer architecture and embedded wireless systems
• - Extensive embedded development experience in C or C++, and familiarity with ARM CPUs
• - Extensive experience with writing low-level drivers, interrupt service routines and general troubleshooting/debugging with hardware
• - Strong GenAI user for day-to-day activities
• - - BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• - - 5+ years of software development experience
• - - Extensive experience in computer architecture and embedded wireless systems
• - - Extensive embedded development experience in C or C++, and familiarity with ARM CPUs
• - - Extensive experience with writing low-level drivers, interrupt service routines and general troubleshooting/debugging with hardware
• - - Strong GenAI user for day-to-day activities

Preferred qualifications

• - Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
• - Experience with one of more commercial wireless protocols like BLE or WiFi
• - Experience in firmware development and testing of battery powered products
• - Experience with development tools like IAR/Keil and Git version control system
• - Experience with common bus protocols such as SPI, I2C, and UART
• - Experience with software testing (unit, regression and system testing)
• - Knowledge of embedded Linux and FreeRTOS
• - Comfortable in some scripting language such as Python
• - Experience in building GenAI applications
• - Experience with AWS
• - - Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field

The minimum gross base salary for this position is listed below. The base salary listed corresponds to working on a full-time basis. For part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rated.

Amazon reserves the right to offer a higher base salary, depending on the candidate's skills, competencies, and experience. Amazon's package may include a sign on payment. In addition, the candidate may be eligible to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. Your recruiting team will share final salary and any restricted stock unit scheme if applicable, depending on skills and requirements.
