Interns will work closely with experienced producers and associates on our employee benefits team, gain insights into our business operations, and contribute to meaningful client service initiatives. You will also have the opportunity to travel to our corporate office in Richmond, VA, where you will connect with fellow interns, network with company leaders, and participate in a volunteer event. Key Responsibilities

• •Gain hands-on exposure to benefits lines of coverage.
• •Prospect via email campaign creation, list creation, and cleaning.
• •Assist with trade show support.
• •Understand the responsibilities and role of a sales representative.
• •Learn how to build a pipeline.
• •Support account management team with policy documentation, endorsements, renewals, and administrative tasks.
• •Assist with data entry, reporting, and quality checks within the agency management system to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• •Participate in client appointments and sales meetings with producers to observe client service and sales best practices.
• •Contribute to special projects aimed at improving internal processes, client experience, or operational efficiency.
• •Build professional communication skills through interactions with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Must be able to commute to our Canton, MA office.

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.

Preferred majors include Business Management, Marketing, Communications, Risk Management & Insurance, Actuarial Science, or related fields.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Curious, motivated, and eager to learn about the insurance industry and grow professionally.
