Job Description:
Department Overview
This department is dedicated to HR (recruitment, training & development, performance evaluation, labor relations, HRBP) specifically for the mobile business organizations of three entities: Rakuten Mobile, Inc., Rakuten Total Solutions, Inc., and Rakuten Symphony, Inc.
While collaborating with Rakuten Group headquarters, this unique environment allows for end-to-end experience, leveraging the characteristics of each company, from addressing HR challenges specific to the mobile business environment (mobile market, retail store operations, global development environment, and talent composition) to planning and implementing solutions, managing operations, and fostering workplace communication.
We organize our teams by HR domain-recruitment, training & development, performance evaluation, labor relations, and HRBP. We facilitate cross-organizational collaboration, mutual understanding through study groups and closing meetings, and career-aligned reassignments. As the HR department overseeing the mobile business, we work daily with a strong sense of unity.
As an organization specializing in labor relations, you will join a team responsible for overall labor management (health and safety, policy revisions, welfare, labor dispute resolution) and responding to various administrative bodies such as the Labor Standards Inspection Office, in collaboration with the payroll, attendance, and social insurance teams. Despite the diverse operations, each individual is highly conscious and committed to achieving efficiency and higher added value.
To become HR professionals, we continuously engage in mutual input and output of HR expertise, applying it to our respective duties to refine our work. We are a very proactive and highly motivated learning organization, offering an environment rich in learning and inspiration.
Position:
Why We Hire
This is to expand our workforce in the labor relations domain to support Rakuten's rapidly growing and expanding mobile-related businesses.
Position Details
This environment offers the opportunity to challenge yourself with problem-solving and initiatives aimed at improving and advancing existing operations, rather than simply acting as an operator. You will collaborate with HRBPs to understand the conditions and challenges of each company and organization, then consider and execute measures. As many activities are project-based, you can also gain experience in project management and project leadership.
You will be responsible for executing the following tasks and for improving operations and processes:
・Revising various regulations
・Submitting notifications to the Labor Standards Inspection Office
・Health and safety-related tasks
・Health management-related tasks (health check-ups, stress checks, infection prevention, vaccinations, etc.)
・Responding to employee inquiries, consultations, and reporting cases
・Other related tasks
In this environment, you will find it engaging to perform tasks by understanding the characteristics of the three companies and leveraging the individuality of each. Furthermore, we are advancing the automation of routine tasks and striving to enhance our internal customer service capabilities.
We have many foreign national employees, making it possible to acquire high-value expertise beyond your previous experience. Even if you initially lack confidence in your English skills, it's not a problem, as other members will support you until you gradually get accustomed to it.
