As an Enterprise Strategy Consultant focused on Energy Project Development, you will help federal energy organizations develop and deliver some of their most complex and impactful energy resilience and infrastructure initiatives. You will support projects from early-stage planning through execution, conducting strategic analysis, coordinating diverse stakeholder groups, and helping clients navigate project development, approvals, acquisition activities, and financing considerations. Combining the analytical rigor of Enterprise Strategy with real-world project development responsibilities, you will work with government leaders and industry partners to transform ideas into actionable solutions that enhance resilience, strengthen critical infrastructure, and advance strategic mission objectives. Your primary responsibilities: Lead Energy Project Development Support the development of large-scale energy resilience and infrastructure projects by managing key phases of the project lifecycle, including project scoping, site selection, project approvals, acquisition support, and project financing strategies. Conduct Industry and Market Research Research emerging energy technologies, infrastructure trends, regulatory considerations, financing mechanisms, and industry best practices that influence the future of energy resilience and security. Gather, Analyze, and Synthesize Data Collect and evaluate operational, financial, technical, and market data to assess project feasibility, identify risks and opportunities, and support strategic recommendations that advance project objectives. Coordinate Complex Stakeholder Engagements Collaborate with federal agencies, installation stakeholders, utilities, developers, financiers, and industry partners to drive alignment, navigate approvals, and resolve challenges affecting project delivery. Drive Project Execution and Delivery Independently coordinate project activities across multiple stakeholders, proactively overcome obstacles, manage schedules and milestones, and ensure project phases are completed on time and aligned with organizational priorities. Perform Strategic Business Analysis Conduct business, policy, technology, financing, governance, and value-based analyses to support energy resilience investments, infrastructure modernization efforts, and enterprise tra Experience supporting Department of War (DoW) Civil Engineering, Energy, Facilities Management, infrastructure, or installation resilience programs, with a strong understanding of federal planning, programming, construction, facilities, and mission support environments. Experience working with military installations, engineering organizations, or infrastructure programs is highly desired. Project Development and Delivery Expertise: Experience managing or supporting large-scale infrastructure, energy, facilities, engineering, construction, or capital improvement projects throughout the project lifecycle, including project scoping, requirements definition, site assessments, stakeholder coordination, approvals, project execution, and risk management. Strategic Analysis and Decision Support: Experience conducting business, operational, engineering, market, policy, or technology research and analysis; gathering and synthesizing technical, financial, and operational data; and developing recommendations that support strategic planning and investment decisions. Business Case, Economic, and Value Analysis: Experience developing project justifications, economic analyses, cost estimates, return-on-investment assessments, life-cycle cost analyses, business cases, or investment recommendations supporting infrastructure, facilities, energy, or capital asset decisions. Stakeholder Management and Executive Communications: Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders while preparing executive briefings, decision papers, project updates, approval packages, and client-facing recommendations. Secret Clearance Professional Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Energy Management, or a related field, with significant experience supporting federal energy, civil engineering, facilities, infrastructure, resilience, or program management initiatives. PMP certification and experience leading complex programs or project portfolios are a plus.
