Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Engineer to organize and oversee the manufacturing of goods. You will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of output. Decision-making and problem-solving will take up a great part of your day. The goal is to ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer requirements.

Your responsibilities:

Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime

Oversee a workforce of employees in the manufacturing department

Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines

Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines

Set ambitious production goals and communicate them to key personnel

Provide motivation, support and guidance to all employees

Communicate any problems or obstacles to senior management

Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity

Create schedules for employees to ensure optimum staffing levels

Estimate costs and prepare budgets

Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements

Monitor production to resolve issues

Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment etc.

Ensure output meets quality standards

Enforce health and safety precautions

Skill sets/Experience we require:

Experience in Transformers : min 5 years

Handled kV class : min 220kV for 2 years

Age : Max 32 years

2 plus years’ experience in a supervisory capacity

Excellent skills in Dispatch activity of Transformer Manufacturing and knowledge of packing of Transformer Accessories

Excellent organizational and leaderships skills

Proven track record of successfully training employees in productivity and safety

Ability to coach and mentor employees on a one-on-one basis as well as a group

Proficient in MS Office and ERP software

Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts

Experience in reporting on key production metrics

Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations

Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach

Attention to detail

Educational Qualitfication- BE/Diploma with additional 3 years experience

or ITI Technicians with 15 years experience having Diploma

To be deputed as Supervisors
