Description

The Hampton Inn & Suites Lake Placid, managed by Essex Hotel Management, is currently seeking a DRIVEN Engineer.

The Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the hotel.

Responsibilities:

• •Conduct regular inspections of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the hotel
• •Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all systems as needed
• •Troubleshoot and diagnose any issues that arise with the systems
• •Coordinate with outside contractors as needed for larger repairs or installations
• •Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
• •Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards
• •Respond promptly to any emergency situations that arise
• •Assist with other maintenance tasks as needed

Requirements

• •Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
• •Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• •Excellent problem-solving skills
• •Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• •Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• •Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including nights and weekends
