Job Summary

Job Description

The Mechanical Designer is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings using computer-aided design software.

• Job Responsibilities
• Creating detailed technical drawings for buildings, structures, and other construction projects
• Ensuring all drawings are accurate and up-to-date
• Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure designs meet specifications and requirements
• Developing design plans that meet project requirements and specifications
• Developing 3D models to aid in design visualization
• Making revisions to designs as needed
• Reviewing and editing technical drawings for accuracy and completeness
• Ensuring all drawings comply with project requirements and specifications
• Assisting engineers and architects with design changes and modifications
• Maintaining project documentation, including drawings, models, and specifications
• Producing project reports and progress updates
• Ensuring all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date

• Requirements
• Associate or bachelor's degree in CAD or related field
• 5+ years of experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
