Responsibilities and Tasks:

• •Work proactively to problem solve with yield or quality impact on our products through development of measurement recipes that can provide quick and accurate feedback on the product integrity.
• •Participate in new technology development and startup alongside with Research & Development (R&D) fabrication (Fab) site in US.
• •Participate in world-wide discussions such as Copy-Smart Team (CST) for continuous improvement on the toolset(s) assigned across Micron Fabs. Share Best-Known-Methods and lesson learned across the network.
• •Set up tool qualification criteria and implement monitoring through Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts.
• •Collaborate with Engineering Operations and/or Application teams to optimize tool maintenance schedules and utilization.
• •Develop and run projects crafted to enhance inline detection, improve efficiency, reduce cost, reduce tool measurement variability and improve machine availability.
• •Partner with the tool suppliers and owners to explore innovative ways of doing things to overcome the challenge of the shrinking technology nodes.
• •Support Fab through data analysis, providing knowledgeable summations of results and recommendations on how to proceed with process changes, equipment availability improvements and cost reduction work.
• •Ensure engineering team is trained on recipe maintenance, tool recovery, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities for the assigned tools.
• •Determine Sampling strategy to meet Production, Process Control and Quality requirement.
• •Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
• •Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.

Requirements:

• •Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Science is required
• •Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills
• •Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels
• •Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning
• •Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
• •Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable
• •Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred.
• •Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role ‑ appropriate AI literacy to use AI ‑ enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem ‑ solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.
