Shape Complex Steel Structures into High-Quality Engineering Deliverables as a Tekla Modeler & Detailer

Your responsibilities

• •Develop structural models in Tekla based on project inputs and engineering requirements.
• •Create detailed engineering drawings in Tekla and CAD within allotted project hours.
• •Perform clash and interference checks to ensure model quality and constructability.
• •Prepare MTOs, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings for project execution.
• •Create report files, custom components, and support template editing activities in Tekla.
• •Collaborate with design, development, production, and other engineering disciplines to meet project requirements.
• •Deliver project outputs on schedule while maintaining high quality standards.
• •Participate in and facilitate internal project meetings based on work requirements.
• •Follow organizational engineering procedures, processes, and best practices during execution.
• •Support engineering analysis, risk identification, quality objectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Expectations from you

• •Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering .
• •6-15 years of experience in steel structure modeling and detailing using Tekla .
• •Strong knowledge of Indian and international Tekla environments and steel profiles.
• •Good understanding of bolted connection steel structures.
• •Strong knowledge of steel structural layouts and modeling concepts.
• •Experience using AutoCAD for engineering and detailing activities.
• •Ability to interpret drawings, technical specifications, and engineering requirements.
• •Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• •Strong collaboration skills and a team-oriented approach.
• •Ability to work independently while managing assigned engineering deliverables.

To succeed in this role

Success in this role requires strong hands-on expertise in Tekla steel structure modeling and detailing, combined with a solid understanding of steel layouts, bolted connections, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings. You will need the ability to work independently, maintain high quality standards, manage priorities effectively, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to meet delivery commitments.
