Engineering Intern

POSITION SUMMARY

The purpose of the internship is to provide an opportunity for current students or recent graduates to learn from on-the-job training and experience work in their chosen field. The Engineering Intern will support the engineering team with technical projects while working under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• •Willingness to learn new skills
• •Strong organizational and communication skills
• •Basic computer skills
• •Basic understanding of accounting principles
• •Current student or recent graduate in relevant field
• •GPA 3.5 or higher
• •Ability to handle sensitive company information with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed in an office environment, sitting at a desk or in an office, meeting room or conference room. Work area is adequately lit, heated, and ventilated.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• •Work is sedentary and usually accomplished while sitting at a desk.
• •Some walking and standing may occur in the course of a normal workday to attend meetings or walk short distances throughout the building.
• •Occasionally carry packages, a laptop, or other small items- up to 15 pounds.
