Role Summary

We are seeking an Engineering Manager, Agile Delivery to lead a cross-functional technology team and drive effective Agile execution. This role combines people leadership, Scrum facilitation, delivery management, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement responsibilities. Development experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• •Lead, coach, and develop team members.
• •Facilitate Agile ceremonies and delivery planning activities.
• •Drive effective sprint execution and delivery outcomes.
• •Manage team capacity, risks, dependencies, and impediments.
• •Partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.
• •Establish and monitor team delivery metrics.
• •Support workforce planning, hiring, and talent development.
• •Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement.
• •Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
• •Support successful delivery of strategic technology initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• •Minimum 8 years of experience in technology delivery or Agile leadership roles.
• •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Business, or related field.
• •Experience leading Agile software-delivery teams.
• •Strong people-management and coaching experience.
• •Expertise in Scrum and Agile delivery practices.
• •Experience managing stakeholders, priorities, and dependencies.
• •Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• •Experience with delivery planning and execution.
• •Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• •Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• •Software engineering or development background.
• •Scrum or Agile certification.
• •Experience supporting cloud-based engineering teams.
• •Exposure to AI-enabled product development environments.

This role is based in Hyderabad, Telangana at Vanguard India. Only qualified external applicants will be considered.
