Partner with the best

The candidate will be responsible for design activities on our compressor and turboexpander products. He/she will be involved throughout the entire engineering lifecycle, from concept development and detailed design to manufacturing support, testing, and site installation activities. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, safety, and quality.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• •Participating in the full design cycle of centrifugal compressors, from concept to drawings and BOM management.
• •Appling and interpreting key industry standards (ISO, API, ASME, NACE, DNVGL, NORSOK).
• •Reviewing engineering and customer specifications to identify and define product requirements.
• •Developing 3D CAD models using Unigraphics NX and generate/review machining drawings following company drafting standards.
• •Creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensuring all documentation is properly managed within Teamcenter.
• •Preparing documentation for design reviews, including layouts, technical presentations, and manufacturing evaluations.
• •Contributing to continuous improvement through lessons learned and support Design for Manufacturing/Sourcing initiatives.
• •Ensuring that all engineering activities meet quality, safety, and environmental standards and follow internal processes.
• •Completing assigned tasks according to performance metrics (OTD, quality, yield).
• •Providing support to peers, engineers, and managers as needed.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• •Master’s Degree (5 years) in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited university or college.
• •Have a minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• •Experience with vibration analysis, rotor dynamic analysis and general compressor performance.
• •Familiarity with static and modal analysis with Ansys Mechanical.
• •Knowledge of geometric and dimensional tolerancing (GD&T), drafting practices and main manufacturing technologies.
• •Proven knowledge of Parametric CAD tool (Unigraphics NX) and TeamCenter database.
• •Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
• •Ability to work independently and comfortably in a global multicultural environment.
• •Team player attitude and inclusiveness, combined with good communication skills.
• •Proficiency with English (spoken and written).

• For Italy:The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 43,600 To 70,000.
