Engineering Technician

Role Summary:

• •We are seeking a motivated Engineering Technician to work both independently and in conjunction with other engineering team members to enable the engineering development activities in a 24x7 automated test equipment laboratory.
• •The successful candidate will interface with product groups, external vendors, and lab technicians to coordinate engineering activities. The Engineering Technician is expected to cross-train and become proficient in various software applications, mechanical handlers, and hardware.
• •A significant amount of the work revolves around recipe generation, setup validation, data collection, process enhancement, and troubleshooting.

Job Responsibility:

• •Enable product qualification activities for the business lines
• •Develop processes & technology for New Product Introductions (NPI)
• •Assist engineering teams with technical support (including data system & network activities)
• •Design & execute engineering experiments in Final Test and Wafer Test (Probe)
• •Draft experimental reports and maintain procedural documentation
• •Provide process monitoring and identify opportunities for improvement to equipment or materials
• •Create recipes or setups for new products/hardware
• •Promote quality and safety
• •Operate manufacturing equipment including: automated test equipment, wafer handlers, final test handlers, scopes & lab equipment

Job Qualification:

• •High School Diploma or GED required.
• •5+ years of experience in a technical, engineering, laboratory, manufacturing, or semiconductor environment is required.
• •A 2-year technical degree or certificate from an accredited institution in a technical science field is preferred.
• •Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• •Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• •Attention to detail.
• •Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• •Ability to write technical reports and effectively communicate test results.
• •Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• •Experience with network protocol, software licensing, and scripting is a plus.
