This role works directly with business and technology teams to understand the application and technology portfolio, perform rationalization, identify modernization opportunities, guide lifecycle and investment decisions, and align technology principles and standards with business strategy.

While the role operates across the broader technology landscape, particular emphasis is placed on application and software architecture, application modernization, and emerging AI capabilities. The Enterprise Architect is expected to bring deep expertise in one or more of these areas while collaborating with Domain, Platform, Solution, and Technical Architects across infrastructure, cloud, data, integration, and cybersecurity to drive enterprise-level decisions and actionable outcomes.

This position is required to report to the Austin, TX or Somerset NJ office location on a hybrid basis.

Develop and contribute to architecture principles, standards, reference architectures, patterns, and guardrails for practical use by architecture and delivery teams.

Partner with Domain and Platform Architects to connect domain and platform strategies, standards, roadmaps, and lifecycle decisions to broader enterprise priorities and identify cross-domain dependencies, gaps, and opportunities.

Participate in strategic technology and vendor evaluations, including build, buy, reuse, modernize, consolidate, and retire decisions.

Partner with business and technology teams to translate strategic priorities into actionable architecture deliverables and technology initiatives.

Collaborate with Solution Architects, Technical Architects, engineering, infrastructure, security, data, and AI teams to resolve cross-domain architecture challenges and move decisions into execution.
