the posting

  • Douglas Service GmbH
  • Within Architecture & Application Portfolio Management, you shape the evolution of our Enterprise Architecture at Group level. At the core is the development of an effective Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) practice in LeanIX — as the foundation for reliable transparency across business processes, applications, data and technologies.
  • How do you make sure your architecture expertise doesn't stay conceptual, but leads to target pictures and solution options that genuinely work in everyday business? A team driving architecture across domain boundaries is looking forward to supporting well-founded decisions and advancing our IT landscape together with you.
  • TASKS WITH IMPACT
  • You build up Enterprise Architecture Management and LeanIX as the central architecture repository, establish it, and continuously develop the metamodel, fact sheets, roles and governance processes further.
  • You create transparency across the IT landscape by structuring, documenting and making usable business processes, business capabilities, applications, data, technologies, interfaces and dependencies.
  • You establish data quality standards and clear responsibilities, actively address data gaps, and position LeanIX as a reliable basis for decision-making in day-to-day business.
  • You drive stakeholder enablement together with business functions and IT, run trainings, roadshows and reviews, and embed architecture processes sustainably into everyday work.
  • You accompany selected architecture topics and business domains independently — from analysing the current landscape to developing target pictures, evaluating options, and preparing architecture sketches and impact assessments for business functions and IT.
  • You further develop reusable architecture principles, standards and guardrails, and identify potential for standardisation and rationalisation.
  • You assess new requirements and technologies for their impact on the enterprise architecture, prioritise them, and translate them into concrete architecture measures.
  • YOUR SKILLS
  • You bring several years of experience in enterprise architecture and complex IT landscapes.
  • Very good practical knowledge of LeanIX or comparable EAM tools, together with experience in target architectures, portfolio management and transformation processes, sets you apart; experience in a retail environment is a plus.
  • Strategic thinking allows you to translate the overall architecture into clear target pictures and development options.
  • Structured, traceable documentation of complex interrelations in LeanIX is a natural part of your way of working.
  • Building sustainable relationships with business departments and IT is part of your day-to-day work, and you actively foster exchange within the architecture community.
  • In daily operations, you embed architecture processes in a hands-on way and ensure they are used sustainably.
  • Driving the ongoing development of the IT landscape, you identify synergies as well as standardization and rationalization potential.
  • Whether with internal or international stakeholders, you communicate confidently in English and German in a business context.
