We are looking for an Enterprise Data Governance Testing Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver and Java and exposure to Data Governance platforms, data quality validation, metadata management, and data testing. The candidate will be responsible for validating data governance processes, automating test cases, and ensuring data quality across enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium and Java.

Create and execute automated test scripts for Data Governance applications.

Validate data quality rules, metadata management, data lineage, and business glossary processes.

Perform database testing using SQL queries.

Test integrations between data governance, master data, and reporting systems.

Validate data reconciliation, accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

Execute API testing for governance-related services.

Collaborate with Data Governance, Data Engineering, and Business teams.

Participate in test planning, defect management, and release validation.

Required Experience

3-5 years of experience in Automation Testing.

Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java.

Experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, or MDM projects.

Strong SQL and database testing expertise.

Knowledge of API testing tools.

Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA.

Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Additional responsibilities

Experience with Informatica Data Governance, Collibra, Alation, Purview, or similar platforms.

Knowledge of ETL/Data Warehouse testing.

Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).

Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
