We’re looking for an Enterprise Sales Representative to build relationships with large automotive groups and strategic dealer accounts. This is a high-impact sales role for someone who understands the automotive industry, knows how to navigate complex sales cycles, and can connect dealership challenges to solutions that deliver real business value.
Position Overview
The Enterprise Sales Representative will be responsible for selling a suite of Better Car People solutions to large automotive groups and targeted strategic accounts. This role combines strategic account development, relationship building, consultative selling, and new business development.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in enterprise sales, preferably within the automotive industry, along with strong communication and relationship-building skills. A deep understanding of dealership operations and a passion for helping automotive businesses improve performance will be key to success in this role.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute sales strategies to target and engage large automotive groups and strategic dealer accounts.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, gaining a strong understanding of their business needs, goals, and challenges.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations that clearly communicate the value of Better Car People technology, services, and training programs.
- Develop new business within assigned accounts and designated market segments, identifying opportunities to expand partnerships and introduce additional solutions.
- Participate in client quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to reinforce the value of existing solutions and identify opportunities for growth.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to monitor key performance metrics, financial objectives, and customer deliverables, ensuring commitments are met on time and at expected quality levels.
- Collaborate with product development, marketing, customer support, and other internal teams to align customer needs with Better Car People solutions.
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through contract negotiation and close, ensuring a smooth transition to implementation and ongoing client support.
- Stay informed on automotive industry trends, competitive activity, and market developments to identify opportunities for business expansion and revenue growth.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for key accounts, building long-term relationships, addressing customer needs, and identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Meet and exceed established sales targets and revenue goals while maintaining accurate pipeline activity and providing regular sales updates.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in enterprise sales, strategic account management, or a similar B2B sales role.
- Automotive industry experience, particularly with automotive dealerships or dealer groups, strongly preferred.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to understand business challenges and connect customers with solutions that deliver measurable value.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand customer objectives, financial goals, and operational challenges.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with senior-level dealership and enterprise stakeholders.
