Job Description

Senior individual-contributor role leading the enterprise Technology PPM ecosystem through strategy, technical partnership, stakeholder influence, and executive decision support.

Role Summary

Lead the strategy, roadmap, governance, and evolution of the enterprise Technology Project Portfolio Management (PPM) ecosystem supporting a large, complex portfolio of technology investments. Connect portfolio, financial, workforce, capacity, demand, and delivery information to support planning and investment decisions.

Partner across Technology, Finance, HR, and portfolio teams to align priorities, clarify evolving requirements, and improve PPM capabilities. The role owns the PPM ecosystem, not the individual Clarity, Jira, or ServiceNow products, and requires strong functional and technical Clarity knowledge plus effective influence with senior and executive leaders.

Initial priorities include stabilizing and improving Clarity, maturing the broader PPM operating model, strengthening integrations across Clarity, Jira, and ServiceNow, improving alignment with Finance, and enhancing portfolio data and executive reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and mature the enterprise PPM strategy, roadmap, operating model, governance, and future-state capabilities.
  • Stabilize and improve Clarity by leading configuration requirements, enhancements, data, reporting, and integrations in partnership with technology teams.
  • Strengthen integration across Clarity, Jira, ServiceNow, financial systems, and other connected platforms so the PPM ecosystem works effectively end to end.
  • Connect portfolio demand, funding, workforce, capacity, priorities, dependencies, and delivery information to support planning and investment decisions.
  • Improve alignment with Finance and Technology leadership across forecasting, portfolio financial management, investment prioritization, and decision support.
  • Improve portfolio data quality, governance, analytics, and executive reporting.
  • Influence stakeholders with competing priorities or changing requirements and lead adoption of PPM processes and capabilities.
  • Communicate portfolio insights, risks, financial implications, trade-offs, and recommendations to senior and executive leadership.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Typically, 10+ years of experience in technology portfolio management, enterprise PPM, product management, enterprise planning, financial planning, or related discipline.
  • Experience leading enterprise PPM strategy, capabilities, or transformation within a large, complex technology organization.
  • Strong functional and technical Clarity experience, including configuration requirements and partnership on enhancements, integrations, data, and reporting.
  • Experience across portfolio planning, demand and capacity/resource planning, and investment or financial planning.
  • Experience translating business needs into PPM requirements and technology capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority and communicate complex portfolio recommendations to executive audiences.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Product-management or product-oriented experience, including strategy, roadmaps, prioritization, requirements, and continuous improvement.
  • Broad portfolio management experience across multiple technology portfolios or business areas.
  • Experience with Jira and/or ServiceNow and their relationship to PPM processes and data.
  • Experience integrating Clarity with financial, workforce, reporting, work-management, service-management, or other enterprise systems.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, capital and expense planning, investment prioritization, and financial governance.
  • Experience creating alignment when priorities conflict, requirements evolve, or stakeholders have different objectives.
