About the Opportunity
Are you competitive, motivated by earning potential, and ready to build a career in sales? Our client, an independent insurance brokerage, is looking for an ambitious Entry-Level Insurance Sales Representative to help grow its group health and employee benefits business.
This is an opportunity to learn the insurance industry from an experienced broker, develop valuable sales skills, and build lasting relationships with business owners and decision-makers. No prior insurance experience or license is required — our client will provide hands-on training and sales scripts to help you get started.
This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable picking up the phone, enjoys meeting new people, and understands that building a successful sales pipeline takes persistence and consistency.
What You'll Do
Make outbound cold calls and send emails to prospective business clients to generate new business opportunities.
Identify and connect with business owners, HR professionals, and decision-makers regarding group health insurance and employee benefits.
Schedule introductory meetings to learn about prospective clients' businesses and insurance needs.
Prepare and deliver follow-up presentations outlining insurance and benefits solutions.
Build relationships with prospective clients and guide them through the sales process, from initial outreach through closing.
Conduct virtual and in-person sales meetings to develop new business.
Maintain organized prospect records, follow up consistently, and manage sales activity using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and insurance carrier portals.
Learn the group insurance industry, carrier offerings, and sales strategies through direct mentorship from the owner.
What We're Looking For
A self-motivated, goal-oriented individual who wants to build a career in sales.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable making cold calls, sending prospecting emails, and initiating conversations with new people.
Resilience and persistence when faced with rejection.
A competitive mindset and genuine interest in earning commissions based on performance.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to learn the insurance industry and commit to developing a long-term book of business.
No previous insurance experience or license is required. Recent graduates and candidates transitioning into sales are encouraged to apply. A college degree is preferred but not required.

Estimated annual earning potential of $65,000–$105,000, depending on sales performance and book growth.
Hands-on training and direct mentorship from an experienced insurance broker.
Opportunity to develop a long-term book of business and build recurring commission income as client relationships grow.
Potential for significant long-term earnings growth for successful sales professionals.
Health insurance available after 90 days, with the employer covering most of the premium.
Two weeks of paid time off, accrued over time.
Paid federal holidays.
401(k) eligibility after one year of employment.

For someone who is persistent, entrepreneurial, and willing to put in the work, this role offers a path to long-term professional and financial growth.
