Entry Level Staff Accountant

Q-Lab Corporation is currently seeking an Entry Level Staff Accountant . Reporting to the Controller, this role is responsible for assisting in the monthly close process, including preparation of journal entries, monitoring and reconciling balance sheet accounts, and maintaining a fixed asset system across multiple entities in multiple countries, among other duties.

Responsibilities:

• •Assist in the monthly close process, including preparation of journal entries
• •Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts
• •Learn and assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
• •Involved in the analysis of financial information
• •Assist with sales and property tax compliance, including preparation of returns
• •Provide management with weekly and monthly KPI reports
• •Assist in annual planning process
• •Maintain fixed asset system across multiple entities in multiple countries
• •Assist in inventory cost management and G/L reconciliation to internal inventory system
• •Ad hoc reporting as needed

Required Skills:

• •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• •1-3 years of experience preferred
• •Analytical and detail-oriented
• •Proficient in Microsoft Office
• •Good verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills:

• •Prior experience in a manufacturing environment or accredited lab
• •Public Accounting experience a plus
