Job Summary

Monday - Friday 3-7PM

• Position Summary
• Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and sanitary healthcare environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Performs a variety of environmental services duties to support hospital operations and ensure compliance with cleanliness and infection prevention standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain patient and non-patient care areas, including floors, carpets, furniture, fixtures, walls, windows, and restrooms.
• Sweep, mop, wax, strip, polish, vacuum, and shampoo floors and carpets.
• Empty, clean, and sanitize waste receptacles.
• Clean and sanitize restroom facilities and replenish supplies as needed.
• Remove debris from building grounds and assigned areas.
• Operate high- and low-speed floor care equipment.
• Set up tables, chairs, and equipment for meetings, events, and hospital activities.
• Identify and report maintenance and repair needs.
• Follow established safety, infection control, and environmental services procedures.

• Experience working with the cleaning equipment and chemicals used in hospitals and healthcare centers 2-3 years required
