Environmental Services Technician

Reliant Healthcare Group is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Environmental Services Technician to join our team in Katy, TX. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for our patients, families, and employees.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Clean and disinfect patient care areas, offices, restrooms, common areas, hallways, and other assigned spaces

Perform routine cleaning, sanitizing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming

Disinfect high-touch surfaces according to established infection-control procedures

Empty trash and properly dispose of waste according to company guidelines

Restock restroom, sanitation, and cleaning supplies as needed

Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in a safe and organized manner

Follow established cleaning schedules and document completed duties when required

Respond promptly to spills and other cleaning or sanitation needs

Follow OSHA, infection prevention, safety, and company policies

Properly use cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE)

Immediately report maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns to management

Help maintain a professional and welcoming appearance throughout the facility

Perform additional environmental services duties as assigned

Qualifications

Previous housekeeping, janitorial, environmental services, or healthcare cleaning experience preferred

Healthcare or clinical environment experience is a plus

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Reliable, punctual, and able to complete assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Knowledge of proper cleaning, sanitation, and infection-control practices preferred

Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality while working around patients and families

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Ability to bend, kneel, reach, push, and pull throughout the workday

Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment

Ability to safely operate standard commercial cleaning equipment
