Location: Epicurean Atlanta

Reports to: ENZO General Manager

Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Job Summary:

ENZO Bartender will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service to all guests that is consistent and continually in accordance with the ENZO Steakhouse & Bar service standards. Bartenders will be responsible for making alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by the recipe and delivering high-quality food and drinks in a clean and friendly environment.

Essential Functions:

• •General knowledge of cocktail crafting and mixology fundamentals
• •Curate guests’ bar experience by making recommendations
• •Knowledge of all beverages to include liquors, beers, and wines
• •Serves guests in an efficient courteous manner following the proper steps of service
• •Knowledge of proper cocktail making, as trained by ENZO Midtown.
• •Have necessary tools to run the shift such as pen, corkscrew, any bar tools, etc.
• •Ability to pair wines with meals
• •Understanding that bar serves full menu and must be prepared as much to serve full coursed or shared meals to guests
• •Light food running when applicable, ability to carry plates that may be warm or hot
• •Knowledge of all menu items to include prep time, preparations, sauces, allergies, and accompaniments
• •Securing the tab and collect payment for food and beverages served
• •Follow practices to ensure safe and responsible serving of alcohol
• •Be aware of any specials, soups, drinks, and any items that are running low
• •Ability to handle station, or when situations arise, ability to let manager/supervisor know ahead of time so as not to affect the guest experience
• •Follow cash handling procedures, and must be able to explain shortages and overages
• •Maintain bar area and follow the established daily checklist
• •Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment
• •Perform other duties as management requests to service our guests.

Qualification Standards:

Education & Experience

• •High School diploma or higher
• •Previous hospitality experience required
• •Minimum 2-year bartending experience in high volume bar or restaurant preferable in the Southwest, Florida area
• •Excellent customer service skills
• •Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• •Ability to use technology e.g. tablets, iPads
