A Day in the Life
Join our EMEA Product & Process Support organisation as an Equipment Lifecycle Management Analyst. Equipment Lifecycle Management (ELM) oversees tooling and test equipment throughout its lifecycle, ensuring that equipment is available, compliant, traceable and ready for use. In this role, you will coordinate day-to-day lifecycle activities, maintain reliable information and improve the processes that support equipment readiness across the business.
Based in Heerlen, The Netherlands, you will work with teams across Medtronic, including Field and Service Center Operations, Product Support, Technical Training, Regional Readiness, Operating Units, Supply Chain, Finance, Sourcing, Supplier Management and Quality, as well as other regional and global functions. ELM supports business needs beyond Service & Repair EMEA wherever equipment processes, capabilities or shared services are required throughout the EMEA region. Your responsibilities will cover the full equipment lifecycle, from assessing demand and acquiring equipment to registration, calibration, distribution, maintenance, return, replacement and controlled decommissioning.
Primary responsibilities

- Maintain accurate equipment records, including ownership, assignment, location, availability, calibration status, maintenance history, condition and suitability for use
- Act as a central point of contact for equipment-related matters, provide clear status updates and coordinate the resolution or escalation of supplier, shipping, customs, compliance and fulfilment issues
- Carry out inventory and equipment-readiness activities, including receipt, cycle counts, stock monitoring, toolkit preparation, loan equipment administration and asset reconciliation
- Analyse lifecycle processes and operational data to identify delays, control gaps and recurring issues, then translate agreed improvements into standard workflows, controls, documentation, dashboards and key performance indicators
- Work with regional and global stakeholders to confirm equipment requirements and implement scalable solutions, including standard catalogues, centralised purchasing, shared toolkits, loan equipment pools and repair-or-replace criteria

Effective communication and stakeholder-management skills, with strong organisational ability, attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a cross-functional and multicultural environment
