Job Description & Summary

• We are seeking to recruit a Cloud Migration Engineer to join our team in Cairo. The
• successful candidate will have more than 6 years of hands-on experience in cloud and
• infrastructure engineering, with a strong focus on migrating servers, databases, and
• applications to modern cloud environments.
• You will support client transformation programs across the global network of PwC,
• collaborating with teams in the UK, Germany, and the Middle East.
• This role involves executing cloud migration projects across major cloud providers such as
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure, applying best practices to ensure
• performance, security, and operational excellence throughout the migration lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Execute cloud migrations for servers, databases, and applications

Perform lift - and - shift, re - platforming, and selective modernization

Use migration tools and scripts to move workloads

Validate migrated workloads for performance, security, and reliability

Troubleshoot migration issues and optimize post - migration systems

Document migration steps and outcomes

Work closely with application and platform teams

Required Skills & Experience:

3 – 6 years in cloud or infrastructure engineering

Hands - on experience with AWS or Azure

Migration tools: Azure Migrate, AWS DMS, CloudEndure

Windows and Linux administration

Networking and hybrid connectivity (VPNs, VNET/VPC, routing)

Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, or Python

Experience migrating enterprise applications or databases

Exposure to cloud - native modernization projects

Required Skills & Experience

3 – 6 years of experience in cloud, infrastructure engineering, or systems

administration roles.

Hands - on experience with at least one major cloud provider:

o Microsoft Azure

o Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Practical experience with cloud migration tools, including:

o Azure Migrate

o AWS Database Migration Service (DMS)

o CloudEndure

Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux system administration.
