Evening Custodian

about the position…

Power Design has an opportunity for a Custodian to join our organization for the overnight shift. Hours will be 6 pm to 2 am.

position details/responsibilities…

• •Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming.
• •Gather and empty trash.
• •Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• •Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• •Dust furniture, walls, and all vertical and horizontal surfaces.
• •Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• •Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.
• •Request supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• •Perform general laborer work and miscellaneous tasks as needed and assigned by Facilities Manager or Property Manager.

here’s what we’re looking for…

• •High School diploma or equivalent.
• •Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• •Good client/customer service skills.
• •Ability to read, write and understand instructions.
• •Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• •Ability to work effectively with a team.
• •Ability to work independently as needed to support the group effort.
• •Basic knowledge of cleaning products or willing to learn.
• •2-3 years commercial verifiable cleaning experience needed.
• •Ability to stand or be on feet for good portion of shift.
• •Ability to lift 50+ lbs on occasion.
• •Ability to accommodate an overnight work schedule.
• •Compensation: $18/hr
