The Role:

SonoThera is seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to serve as a trusted right hand to the CEO and a critical partner in enabling executive effectiveness. This role is central to how the CEO operates day-to-day—owning time management with precision, orchestrating complex schedules and travel, and ensuring flawless execution across internal and external engagements, including board and investor interactions.

The ideal candidate operates with exceptional judgment, discretion, and attention to detail. The Executive Assistant will be highly organized, proactive, collaborative and able to anticipate needs before they arise. The Executive Assistant must be able to seamlessly manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. This individual is calm under pressure, communicates with clarity and professionalism across all stakeholder teams, and takes pride in delivering work at an exceptionally high standard. The candidate is deeply reliable, solutions-oriented, and capable of representing the CEO and the company with polish and credibility.

What You Will Do:

Serve as a trusted partner to the CEO, proactively managing priorities, time, and focus to maximize effectiveness

Own and orchestrate complex calendars for the CEO and select members of the leadership team, ensuring alignment across internal priorities and external commitments

Coordinate and execute domestic and international travel with precision, including detailed itineraries and seamless logistics

Lead end-to-end planning and execution of meetings and events, including executive staff meetings, board meetings, investor interactions, and key internal forums

Anticipate needs and ensure the CEO and leadership team are well-prepared for all meetings and commitments

Track key action items and follow through to ensure timely execution across leadership priorities

Facilitate coordination across teams to support effective communication and execution

Provide high-impact administrative and operational support on special projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience providing high-level executive support in a fast-paced,
  • high-performance environment
  • Proven experience supporting C-level executives, ideally in a startup, biotech, or life sciences

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

Experience supporting board meetings and investor communications

Prior experience in a high-growth or venture-backed company

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $115,000.00 to $150,000.00 USD annually.. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on various factors, including, without limitation, individual education, experience, tenure, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data, including potential adjustments for geographic location.
