Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

• •Plan, and manage all Boiler, facilities and utilities activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant support services.
• •Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of utility systems, including boilers, steam distribution, water treatment systems, compressed air systems, HVAC, refrigeration, and other facility infrastructure.
• •Ensure optimum performance, reliability, and availability of utility equipment through effective preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• •Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for utility and facility-related equipment failures and operational issues.
• •Supervise and guide technicians and contractors in the execution of maintenance, repair, and utility improvement projects
• •Monitor utility consumption and drive energy-saving initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce operating costs
• •Ensure boilers and utility systems comply with all statutory, environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements, including periodic inspections and certifications
• •Ensure all maintenance and project activities are carried out in accordance with engineering standards, company policies, and safety procedures.
• •Conduct routine inspections, audits, and condition assessments of boiler systems, utilities, and facility infrastructure.
• •Develop, review, and maintain SOPs, work instructions, maintenance procedures, and technical documentation related to boiler, facilities & utilities operations.
• •Support and ensure compliance with Food Safety, Environmental, Energy Management, and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems, including ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, HACCP, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements
• •Provide technical coaching and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians
• •Prepare maintenance reports, utility performance analyses, and improvement recommendations for management review
• •Undertake any other responsibilities assigned by Management.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 3-4 years' experience in boiler, facilities & utilities maintenance and operations within a manufacturing environment, experience in:

• •Boilers system
• •Water treatment systems
• •Cooling tower
• •Compressor, HVAC, refrigeration, and facility infrastructure
• •Knowledge of boiler statutory requirements, inspections, and certification compliance
• •Knowledge of boiler operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
• •Knowledge of building services, infrastructure maintenance, firefighting systems, lighting systems, drainage systems, and facility upkeep.
• •Experience in contractor and service provider management.
• •Certified as Steam Engineer certificate will be an added advantage
