Executive Manager / Senior Manager (Procurement)

[What the role is]

You will be part of the finance team, playing a key role in shaping and driving the Authority’s procurement function. This is a dynamic role where you will support effective procurement governance, provide practical advice, and contribute to continuous improvements in procurement policies, processes, and practices.

[What you will be working on]

• •Procurement planning and advisory
• •Partner with line departments to understand their needs, review specifications, and develop procurement strategies that meet project requirements.

• •End-to-end procurement support
• •Support the full procurement process, including preparing sourcing documents, evaluating submissions, seeking approvals, and managing contracts.
• •Assist with contract management activities, such as monitoring contract expiry dates and following up on required actions.

• •Governance and continuous improvement
• •Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• •Review procurement policies and work processes to keep them effective and relevant.
• •Identify opportunities to add value, strengthen controls, introduce innovative solutions, and improve procurement practices.

• •Strong analytical skills, with confidence in using data for reporting and process improvement
• •Public sector or procurement-related experience will be an advantage
• •Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage internal stakeholders and suppliers effectively
