In this role, you’ll work independently and alongside a strong team to deliver high-quality plumbing solutions to our customers. You’ll play a key part in maintaining our reputation for excellence while mentoring apprentices and contributing to the overall success of the department.

Job Summary

As a Plumber, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential plumbing systems. This position requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

• •Diagnose, repair, and install plumbing systems in residential settings.
• •Ensure all work is completed to code, company standards, and customer satisfaction.
• •Troubleshoot plumbing issues efficiently and recommend effective solutions.
• •Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• •Mentor and support apprentices, helping develop their skills in the field.
• •Follow all safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.
• •Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good condition.
• •Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and successfully.
• •Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude.

Minimum Qualifications

• •Valid Journeyman Plumber license preferred (or readiness to test).
• •High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• •Valid driver’s license with insurability through Vredevoogd’s insurance carrier.
• •Ability to pass initial and random drug screenings, as well as a comprehensive national background check.
• •Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems, codes, and best practices.
• •Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• •Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• •Strong communication and customer service skills.
• •Ability to lift over 75 lbs, climb in and out of vehicles, and work in varying weather conditions.
• •Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
• •Must live within 45 minutes of Grandville.
