Ulan West is a modern, high ‑ production underground longwall coal mine in the Western Coalfields of NSW. The Role

We’re looking for Experienced Operators to join our underground team. This is more than a job — it’s a pathway to career growth with hands ‑ on work, the latest mining technology and a team that will help you progress.

Key Responsibilities

Safely and effectively operate and/or maintain machinery to a standard and quality required to meet target outputs.

Be a motivated and positive team player and contribute to team results.

Comply with all Health & Safety requirements

Attend monthly training days.

Comply with the Mine Operating System within your area of responsibility.

You’ll succeed if you have

Underground Coal Mining experience.

Strong safety mindset and commitment to safe work practices.

Good communication skills and a team ‑ first attitude.

Ability to obtain any site ‑ specific mining certifications and medicals required.
