Auf der Intensivstation tragen Sie maßgeblich dazu bei, die Stabilität und Genesung von intensivpflichtigen Patientinnen und Patienten sicherzustellen.

Sie tragen Verantwortung für:

  • Die lückenlose Patientenüberwachung: Sie behalten alle Monitoring-Systeme, Vitalwerte und Organfunktionen im Blick und leiten bei Abweichungen unverzüglich die erforderlichen Schritte ein.
  • Das Gerätemanagement und die Beatmungspflege: Sie bedienen Beatmungsgeräte eigenständig, führen regelmäßige Tracheostoma- und Tubuspflegen durch, unterstützen bei Extubationen und überwachen intensivmedizinische Geräte.
  • Die Verabreichung von Arzneimittel: Sie stellen sicher, dass Narkotika, kreislaufwirksame Medikamente, Infusionslösungen und Blutprodukte fehlerfrei vorbereitet, verabreicht und bilanziert werden.
  • Diagnostische und therapeutische Interventionen: Sie bereiten invasive Eingriffe auf Station steril vor, assistieren Ärztinnen und Ärzten sicher am Patientenbett und sorgen für eine strukturierte Nachsorge.
  • Krisen- und Notfallinterventionen: In kritischen Situationen und bei Notfällen handeln Sie ruhig, fokussiert und nach standardisierten Notfallprotokollen, um Leben zu retten.
  • Ganzheitliche Intensivpflege: Sie sind Ansprechpartner auf der Station und kümmern sich rundum alle Patienten und Patientinnen.

Zuletzt steuern Sie die Übergaben, sichern die vollständige digitale Pflegedokumentation und stehen Angehörigen in belastenden Phasen beratend und *menschlich* zur Seite.
