Maintenance Technician – Westlake

What You'll Do

• •Maintain a safe work environment and report unsafe conditions.
• •Perform and document preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• •Inspect, test, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems; repair or replace parts as needed.
• •Install, maintain, and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment.
• •Operate welding and cutting tools and fabricate/repair wooden and metal structures.
• •Adjust, test, and fine-tune devices and control instruments for proper performance.
• •Initiate purchase orders for parts and materials.
• •Maintain clean, organized work areas in line with 5S standards.
• •Follow company policies, complete daily labor records, and perform Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures correctly.
• •Develop multiple skills to support various production areas and work efficiently under urgency.
• •Lift, lower, and carry up to 40 pounds as needed.

What You'll Need

• •Minimum 5 years of experience in the maintenance field.
• •High school diploma or GED; technical or vocational training preferred.
• •Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
• •Ability to read instructions, blueprints, and measurement devices (micrometers, calipers).
• •Basic computer skills.
• •Tow Motor and Scissor Lift certification required; Arc Flash knowledge preferred.
• •Knowledge in mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• •Strong attention to safety, teamwork, and professionalism.
