Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Foreman - Building Maintenance to lead maintenance and renovation crews on commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience, a strong background in building maintenance and facility repairs, and a commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

This position is responsible for overseeing daily work activities, coordinating manpower and resources, ensuring project schedules are met, and maintaining compliance with all company and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

Position Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate building maintenance and renovation crews.

Plan, assign, and oversee daily work activities to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Lead teams performing:

• •Painting
• •Drywall repair and replacement
• •Carpet removal and installation
• •General remodeling projects
• •Facility repairs and maintenance
• •Other commercial and industrial maintenance activities
• •Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company standards and customer expectations.
• •Conduct job site inspections to verify quality, safety, and productivity.
• •Coordinate with management, customers, contractors, and site personnel as needed.
• •Monitor crew performance and provide guidance, training, and support.
• •Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and project progress.
• •Enforce all company safety policies and site-specific requirements.

Qualifications:

• •Previous experience as a Foreman, General Foreman, Maintenance Supervisor, or similar leadership role required.
• •Extensive experience in building maintenance, facility repairs, remodeling, or industrial maintenance.
• •Industrial or power plant experience preferred.
• •Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• •Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• •Proven commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• •Must be dependable, professional, and self-motivated.
• •Must successfully pass all company and site-specific requirements.
• •Must pass extensive background screening and drug testing.
• •Must be willing and able to work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, humidity, rain, and other outdoor environmental conditions as required.
• •Physical Requirements
• •Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• •Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work at various heights.
• •Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.
• •Ability to wear required PPE and comply with all safety protocols.
