The Opportunity
Are you passionate about quality, problem-solving, and driving continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment? At Hitachi Energy, we're looking for a Factory Quality Specialist to help ensure world-class product quality throughout the transformer manufacturing lifecycle.
In this role, you'll serve as a key quality champion, supporting engineering, production, testing, and delivery teams to ensure products meet customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify risks, resolve quality issues, implement preventive actions, and strengthen quality systems that drive operational excellence.

How You'll Make an Impact
- Lead quality assurance activities throughout product engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Coordinate and support key quality deliverables including FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, and MSA activities.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and testing teams to integrate quality requirements into daily operations.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate product and process quality risks before they impact customers.
- Drive root cause investigations and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Serve as a quality liaison for customer concerns and support resolution of quality-related inquiries.
- Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality systems, procedures, and standard operating practices.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience in quality assurance, manufacturing quality, or process quality within an industrial environment.
- Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies such as FMEA, PPAP, MSA, and root cause analysis.
- Understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience leading corrective and preventive action initiatives and resolving non-conformities.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across multiple functions.
