The position supports the project’s goal of demonstrating and strengthening the effectiveness of the Family Threads Practice Model while helping turn data into information that staff and project leadership can use to improve implementation, participant experience, and outcomes.
The Data Specialist also works collaboratively with Archways’ organizational data and compliance leadership and the Vice President /COO to ensure that project-specific data practices align with applicable privacy requirements, established data-governance best practices, Archways policies and procedures, organizational reporting systems, and broader operational priorities.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and support the data systems, procedures, tools, and reporting processes needed for implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and federal reporting for the New Hampshire Family Recovery Project.
- Coordinate standardized data collection across participating Family Resource Centers of Quality and partner organizations, including participant, service, referral, engagement, implementation, fidelity, and outcome information.
- Monitor data quality through routine validation, completeness reviews, timeliness checks, identification of missing or inconsistent information, and follow-up with participating sites to resolve data concerns.
- Track project performance measures, benchmarks, implementation milestones, participant enrollment, service delivery, family engagement, referral patterns, program completion, and other required indicators.
- Develop dashboards, visual reports, and monthly, quarterly, annual, and other required reports that clearly communicate implementation progress, performance, outcomes, service gaps, and emerging trends to project leadership, partners, and funders.
- Prepare and support required Regional Partnership Grant performance reporting and other project reporting requirements, coordinating closely with the Program Director and other responsible Archways staff to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.
- Collaborate with OMNI Institute on process and outcome evaluation activities, including submission of implementation and participant-level data, administrative data coordination, survey administration, fidelity monitoring, data requests, and documentation of project outcomes.
- Provide analysis that supports Continuous Quality Improvement, implementation decisions, Leadership Council review, and corrective-action planning, helping project leadership identify barriers, patterns, areas of concern, and opportunities to strengthen practice.
- Work directly with participating Family Resource Centers and partner organizations to strengthen data quality, performance monitoring, reporting consistency, and understanding of project measures and expectations.
- Support secure and appropriate collection, storage, transmission, access, use, and management of participant and project data in accordance with approved data-sharing agreements, applicable federal and state requirements, established data-governance and confidentiality best practices, and Archways policies and procedures. Work collaboratively with Archways’ organizational data and compliance leadership on HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2 when applicable, privacy, access, security, and other data-governance matters.
- Train and provide technical assistance to project staff and participating organizations on data-collection procedures, reporting expectations, project databases, standardized tools, user guides, reporting manuals, and related data practices.
- Work collaboratively with Archways’ organizational data and compliance leadership, the Family Recovery Project Program Director, the Vice President, and other Archways departments to align project data practices with Archways policies, systems, and data-governance standards; support shared reporting, documentation, administrative systems, and quality-improvement efforts; and contribute to broader Archways data, systems, planning, or special projects when those responsibilities appropriately support the project or shared organizational infrastructure.
