Mission

Neko is redefining what prevention means, from treating illness when it arrives, to sustaining health before it's ever at risk. Our mission: make data-driven, preventative care accessible to more people, before symptoms appear.

In a single, non-invasive visit under an hour, proprietary technology and direct clinical care combine to deliver personalised, actionable insights. It's a team that thinks in 10x, not 10%. Every role here plays a part in building a world where prevention is the norm, and where your work genuinely helps people live longer, healthier lives.

Role Purpose

As a Field Service Engineer supporting our Swedish clinics, you will play a critical role in ensuring the performance, availability, and continuous improvement of Neko Health’s clinical scanning technology across both existing and upcoming sites in Sweden. You will lead installation, maintenance, servicing, upgrades, and retrofits of instruments to guarantee consistently high uptime for clinical teams.

Partnering closely with Engineering, Clinical Operations, and cross-functional teams across Sweden and Europe, you will serve as the vital link between real-world field performance and product development, capturing insights that drive improvements in technology, processes, service quality, and member experience.

This role combines hands-on technical expertise with collaboration, problem-solving, and operational ownership to ensure seamless clinic operations as we continue scaling across Sweden.

What You’ll Deliver in the First 6–12 Months

Successfully install, maintain, and service scanning instruments across Swedish clinics, ensuring high reliability and minimal downtime.

Build strong working relationships with Engineering and Clinical Operations, translating field insights into actionable product and process improvements.

Establish consistent documentation, reporting, and compliance standards across all installation and service activities in Sweden.

Identify opportunities to improve service efficiency, instrument performance, and preventative maintenance strategies.

Support the scaling of field service operations as Neko expands its clinical footprint across Sweden and future regions.

Minimum Qualifications

Technical certification, Associate degree, or equivalent practical experience in engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related technical field.

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in field service engineering, technical support, instrumentation, or similar technical service environments.

Proven experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and servicing technical equipment in operational environments.

Strong troubleshooting capabilities and practical problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented mindset.

Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams and geographies.

Preferred Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline.

Experience working with clinical, healthcare, diagnostic, or medical device technologies.

Exposure to regulated environments and quality/compliance standards.

Experience supporting distributed or multi-site service operations.

Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and continuous improvement methodologies.
