  • Conduct system checks, validation activities, and performance assessments as required.
  • Document service activities and prepare clear, accurate service reports.
  • Communicate instrument issues and customer feedback to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Collaborate with customers, colleagues, and business partners to resolve service needs.
  • Clarify customer needs and expectations regarding service, repairs, upgrades, and service contracts, and communicate them to the appropriate teams.
  • Contribute to service process improvements and internal knowledge sharing.
  • Follow applicable safety procedures, quality requirements, and company policies.
  • Respond to customer needs on short notice when required.
  • Work toward established customer satisfaction goals.

Requirements

  • An advanced degree in Electronics, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field; or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least two years of hands-on technical experience installing, troubleshooting, or repairing complex instruments or equipment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including the ability to diagnose issues at the component level.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and service procedures.
  • Strong customer service, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize service needs, and adapt to different products and customer environments.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 50–75% within the assigned territory, including overnight travel as required.
  • Ability to work safely in laboratories and other customer environments, and to lift and handle equipment or parts weighing up to 23 kg, as required by the role.
  • Ability to respond to customer needs on short notice and work toward established customer satisfaction goals.

Preferred Qualifications
