You'll be responsible for managing field activities, conducting site inspections and quality audits, mentoring crews, and driving contractor performance across a busy portfolio of telecommunications works.

About the Role

Field Supervisor - Telecommunications (ONM)

Service Stream is seeking an experienced Field Supervisor to join our Telecommunications team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising field crews and delivery partners across operational and maintenance programs while ensuring safe, compliant and high-quality network construction outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• •Lead and supervise field technicians, civil crews and subcontractors.
• •Conduct site assessments, network surveys, inspections and quality audits.
• •Review construction designs and validate scopes of work before execution.
• •Coordinate construction activities to meet customer commitments and delivery targets.
• •Monitor contractor performance, defect resolution and compliance requirements.
• •Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Safety, Quality and operational standards.
• •Provide shoulder-to-shoulder coaching, mentoring and field support.
• •Liaise with clients, authorities and stakeholders to support network operations.
• •Participate in an on-call roster.

About You

You are an experienced telecommunications professional with strong knowledge of fixed network construction and maintenance environments.

To be successful, you will bring:

• •Minimum 5 years' experience within external telecommunications networks.
• •Proven experience leading field-based teams and subcontractors.
• •Strong understanding of network construction methodologies including:
• •Fibre deployment and maintenance
• •Cable hauling
• •Civil construction activities
• •Network audits and quality inspections

• •Working knowledge of HFC, FTTN, FTTC and FTTP networks.
• •Ability to interpret network designs, build packs and construction documentation.
• •Experience managing contractor performance, KPIs and service delivery outcomes.
• •Strong focus on safety, compliance and quality assurance.
• •Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
