JOB DESCRIPTION:

Field Technical Engineer

Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM Division)

Location - Lisbon/Portugal

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

• •To provide technical support to Customers relating to Abbott Medical products.
• •To provide assistance with education for physicians and cardiac physiologists.
• •To provide servicing to the current customer base and establishing new accounts.
• •To maintain depth understanding of our product lines and support management in the formulation of sales strategies and goals.
• •To ensure that all EMEAC current Business Ethics, Regulatory and Quality procedures are followed.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• •Achieve sales and units per plan.
• •Provide technical support of equipment and assistance over the whole national territory
• •to physicians.
• •Support physicians during the enrolment and follow-up phase of clinical studies, and
• •collaborate with the Therapy Marketing Group in those studies.
• •Perform Product Presentations.
• •Provide support to Sales and Tenders Team.
• •Analyze competitor's devices and maintenance updated marketing database.
• •Attend and complete all necessary training concerning the use of new products.
• •Ensure all Abbott Medical standing Quality Procedures are followed.
• •Provide market information to Sales Department.
• •Produce monthly reports on personal activities.
• •To ensure that all EMEAC current Business Ethics, Regulatory and Quality procedures
• •are followed.
• •Represent the Company in a professional manner and with the highest integrity.
• •Proactively plan their weekly travel schedule and communicate this through the appropriate channels in your country/division.
• •Keep his/her immediate manager informed (business progress, activities).
• •Assist his/her manager to build the yearly implant plan required.
• •Give support to other regions if necessary.
• •This position is in contact with customers.

EDUCATION & COMPETENCIES

University Degree in an area of Health sciences

English and Portuguese: high level.

Medical background (preferable).

NATURAL ABILITIES

Professional image.

Communication skills.

Ethical character.

Willing to travel extensively.

Hard worker.

High level of confidence and proactivity.
