As a Manager in our Melbourne CFO Advisory team, you’ll play a vital role in optimising Finance functions by providing a range of advisory services to solve problems, whilst balancing commercial insight and risk management, driving high-quality outcomes for our clients.

What you’ll do:

Finance function modernisation: Assisting the shift from transaction processing to data led insights for trusted decision making

Process Optimisation: Process modernisation, activity analysis, risk and control design and continuous monitoring

Finance System Implementation Support: Business Case, chart of accounts design, program management, control design/assurance

Cost optimisation: Determining operating model and commercial benefits to fund modernisation programs

Transactional Change: Considering pre or post deal support from governance, accounting, integration and synergy realisation

What we’re looking for:

At least 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, external audit or a related field

Bachelor or equivalent degree

CA qualification (or equivalent)

Excellent skills in leading project teams to deliver finance projects or internal improvement activities

Experience in risk & controls, process optimisation, financial reporting, technical accounting, management accounting or budgeting

Critical analytical skills including the ability to identify and provide meaningful insights to clients.

Strong technical accounting skills with experience in applying accounting standards

Strong attention to detail to deliver high quality reports and presentations to clients, maintaining PwC Risk & Quality guidelines and frameworks
