Get ready to Own professionalization as a Finance Business Partner Asia at Nutreco, an SHV company. As global leaders in animal nutrition and aquafeed, our shared purpose of Feeding the Future is making a positive global impact for generations to come. Join us in this transformational role and Own your playbook, Own your impact and Own your career growth.
Asia is one of Nutreco's key growth engines, and the region's footprint across our businesses is only getting more complex and more strategic. Finance is expected to be at the table for that growth story.
This is not a reporting seat. It's a business partnering role for someone who wants to sit next to commercial, supply chain and operations leaders, ask the harder questions, and help the BU build a genuinely higher-performing organization. You'll work directly with the BU Finance Director and the wider FBP team to bring financial rigor, challenge assumptions, and turn data into decisions across a multi-country, multi-species business.
Job Description:
What you'll own
Business partnering and performance steering
- Act as the financial sparring partner to commercial, supply chain and procurement leaders across your OpCo cluster, not just their reporting line
- Drive regional pricing and margin management by establishing common approaches across OpCos, providing financial analysis and challenge to local pricing decisions, and tracking agreed actions and margin outcomes to ensure delivery against regional targets
- Balance regional and global priorities with local OpCo realities, translating BU and corporate direction into decisions that actually work on the ground
- Validate and follow up on the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) / Financial Outlook process
- Build and maintain dashboards that combine financial data with operations and supply chain inputs, so decisions are based on one version of the truth
Planning, forecasting and analysis
- Lead budgeting and rolling forecast processes across the OpCos, and own the monthly consolidation of results
- Develop financial models to support budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis, including working capital, Capex and credit policy analysis
- Run variance and trend analysis that goes beyond "what happened" to "why, and what we do about it"
- Track financial performance against budget and forecast, and flag risk early rather than at month-end
Governance, reporting and process improvement
- Review and help redefine financial policies and procedures
- Coordinate reporting across procurement, operations, HSE, Capex and supply chain for BU Asia
- Build a culture of accurate, timely reporting in the OpCos through training, coaching and honest feedback, not just chasing numbers
- Spot and drive opportunities for automation and standardization across planning and reporting
Projects and growth
- Support Capex initiatives and projects from a financial governance standpoint through to follow-up
- Contribute financial analysis to M&A opportunities in the region
- Coordinate OpCo financing requirements, including model review and follow-up with Corporate
What you bring
- A finance professional who is comfortable being the one who challenges the room, backed by solid financial modeling and analysis skills
- Experience business partnering in a multi-country or regional finance role, ideally in FMCG, food, agribusiness or a comparably complex manufacturing and commercial environment
- Strong command of budgeting, forecasting, consolidation and variance analysis, with the judgment to know what actually matters to the business
- Working knowledge of ERP and reporting tools (SAP, Power BI or similar); M3 experience is a plus
- Comfort operating across cultures and time zones, with the maturity to build trust with country finance teams and OpCo leadership without a direct reporting line
- Willingness to travel within the region
Where you sit
You'll report to the BU Finance Director Asia and work alongside the other Finance Business Partners covering the region, as well as the Internal Control & Process Improvement function. It's a small, close-knit finance leadership team with a direct line to the business.

This role gives you a genuine seat at the table in one of the company's highest-growth regions, direct exposure to senior leadership, and the scope to shape how finance operates across the OpCo cluster rather than simply reporting on it.
