Job Description

Just imagine that you can shape one of our biggest businesses in Western Europe while balancing growth, margin, investment and return across multiple markets. Then make it real.

About the role

As our Finance Director, Western Europe B2B E-commerce, you'll act as the strategic Finance Business Partner and co-pilot to the VP B2B E-commerce Western Europe, representing Finance within the leadership team of one of Western Europe's largest business units. You'll help drive sustainable topline growth, structural EBIT improvement and strong financial governance, steering performance and value creation across multiple countries.

Required Qualifications

  • Led commercial finance and financial planning activities to support business performance.
  • Delivered performance insights to support growth, profitability and value creation across multiple markets.
  • Managed budgeting and forecasting processes that enabled accurate business planning.
  • Acted as Finance Business Partner to senior commercial leaders and leadership teams.
  • Led discussions on investment effectiveness and financial governance without direct reporting authority.
  • Influenced business decisions through financial analysis and performance steering.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Improved the ROI and productivity of commercial investments, including trade investment and demand-generation levers.
  • Worked in an international, multi-market commercial finance environment.
  • Built strong partnerships across cross-functional leadership teams.
  • Balanced growth and profitability objectives in a growing business environment.

What you'll build

  • Strong financial insight that supports value creation across 10 markets.
  • Effective trade-off decisions between growth, margin, investment and return.
  • Greater commercial investment effectiveness and improved productivity.
  • Robust financial governance and performance management processes.
  • Sustainable progress on the business unit's path to profitability.
  • Accurate planning, forecasting and close processes that support business commitments.

If you've worked in a role where you partnered closely with senior leaders, led commercial finance and planning activities, and used data to steer important business decisions, you'll feel at home here. You'll also bring extensive experience in finance, a strong commercial mindset and a track record of influencing decision-making through insight. What matters most is your ability to connect financial analysis with business action.

Life on the team

You'll join the Western Europe Markets & Channels Finance Business Partnering team and become a key member of the B2B E-commerce Leadership Team. The team works across markets to drive sustainable growth, profitability and strong financial governance. With a hybrid rhythm and colleagues across locations, success comes from building relationships, communicating clearly and taking ownership while remaining comfortable navigating ambiguity and change.

What success looks like

You'll help the business make smarter investment decisions, strengthen returns on commercial investments and advance its path to profitability. Over the next 12–18 months, the focus will be on defining the future B2B E-commerce strategy, accelerating value creation and supporting long-term growth. You'll work closely with the VP B2B E-commerce, the Western Europe Head of Finance, the B2B E-commerce Leadership Team and Finance Business Partner colleagues across the region.
