Finance Manager

About the role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Finance Controllership professional (CA) to manage financial reporting, book closure, MIS preparation, and audit coordination. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting fundamentals, experience in fast-paced startup environments, and the ability to work cross-functionally with business and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• •Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closure of books of accounts
• •Prepare and present Monthly MIS reports and financial analysis
• •Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• •Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting
• •Coordinate and manage quarterly and annual statutory audits
• •Work closely with internal stakeholders for reconciliations and financial controls
• •Support implementation and improvement of finance processes and SOPs
• •Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• •Ensure timely compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• •Taxation knowledge including GST/TDS/compliances would be an added advantage

Desired Skills/ Experience

• •Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
• •2–4 years of post-qualification experience
• •Prior experience in startups and/or Big 4 preferred
• •Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• •Hands-on experience with MIS, audits, AP/AR management, and book closure
• •Good analytical and stakeholder management skills
• •Proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting tools
