Finance Manager, AWS GenAI Finance

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Finance Manager to be a key member of the AWS GenAI team. This role will own end to end finance support including CapEx management and planning for Generative AI services. Additionally, this role will drive strategic new Generative AI feature launches and process improvements across the organization. The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively, manage multiple and time sensitive deliverables across a highly matrixed organization, along with managing risks and opportunities. The individual will also possess strong business partnership skills and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders.

• Key job responsibilities
• - Take the lead in financial planning; build complex financial models and analytical tools to measure overall financial performance
• - Owning the GenAI services end to end, and influence business decisions that drive revenue and/or capital expenditures
• - Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements including automation and coordination with upstream and downstream organizations.
• - Partner with finance teams across AWS to standardize, streamline, and prioritize improvements, remove roadblocks, and increase the reliability and efficiency of reporting.

Basic qualifications

• - 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience
• - 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience
• - 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience

Preferred qualifications

• - Knowledge of SQL/ETL
• - Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
