Finance Manager, INFC

Amazon seeks a Finance Manager to partner with the First Mile network for the India business. The role owns the planning and management of costs billed by third-party warehousing partners across the network - optimizing rate card structures, reviewing contracts before they are entered into for commercial terms and cost exposure, and working with key stakeholders across Operations and Procurement to identify and execute cost-reduction initiatives. The role partners with Procurement on rate card negotiations with third-party warehousing partners and provides the financial analysis behind each negotiation and commercial decision.

• Key job responsibilities
• •Responsible for financial planning, forecasting, and reporting models for the first mile 3P network
• •Partner with teams across Operations and Procurement to drive cost out initiatives and optimal cross functional decisions that maximize Amazon's long-term free cash flow
• •Own rate card structures and provide the financial analysis behind partner negotiations and commercial decisions, including reviewing contracts for commercial terms and cost exposure before they are entered into
• •Own the month-end close (MEC) for the first mile 3P network - including partner requisitions and POs, and controls over partner billing
• •Partner with Procurement to drive YoY cost optimization through rate card negotiations with third-party warehousing partners
• •Develop and maintain key reporting metrics and review mechanisms for the segment
• •Drive adoption of AI and automation to reduce manual effort across planning, close, and reporting

Basic qualifications

• - MBA, or CMA or CPA
• - Experience in commercial finance business partnering or FP&A (at a multinational organisation), or experience or equivalent experience in finance roles
• - Experience building or deploying automation or AI tools in a finance function

Preferred qualifications

- CA or MBA with 7+ years of progressive experience in finance
