Financial Management Analyst

Position Summary

ANSER is seeking a Financial Management Analyst to support the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Webster Outlying Field (WOLF), and Special Communications Mission Solutions (SCMS) Division. The SCMS Division operates as the organic Lead Systems Integrator (oLSI®) and provides in-service engineering, maintenance, repair, and rebuild of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems.

In this role, you will provide budget execution support, financial documentation, and financial monitoring. You will report on the financial status of Division and program/project obligations, commitments, and expenditures while supporting reconciliation processes, operating budget activities, financial benchmarks, and business process assessments.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Provide budget execution support, financial documentation, and financial monitoring.

Report on the financial status of Division and program/project obligations, commitments, and expenditures.

Support reconciliation process assessments and activities.

Support the Division’s operating budget and achievement of established financial benchmarks.

Assist with business process assessments and evaluations to improve overall effectiveness, efficiency, quality, and cost performance.

Prepare, review, maintain, and organize financial documentation and supporting records.

Monitor financial activities and assist in identifying discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for improvement.

Support financial analysis and reporting activities for Division and program/project requirements.

Maintain accurate and complete financial data and documentation.

Coordinate with program, project, and financial stakeholders to support budget execution and financial management requirements.

Provide analytical support to improve financial processes, resource management, and operational effectiveness.

Support the implementation and assessment of business processes in accordance with established Government requirements and procedures.

Required Qualifications

Active DoD Secret security clearance.

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; OR an Associate’s degree plus 4 additional years of experience related to the position’s duties; OR 6 additional years of experience related to the position’s duties in lieu of a degree.

Experience related to budget execution, financial documentation, financial monitoring, or financial management.

Ability to analyze and report on obligations, commitments, and expenditures.

Ability to support reconciliation processes, operating budgets, financial benchmarks, and business process assessments.

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial documentation and data.

Ability to evaluate business processes and identify opportunities to improve effectiveness, efficiency, quality, and cost performance.

Ability to work effectively with Government and program stakeholders while supporting established financial management processes and requirements.

Must reside within a 50-mile distance from the work location. This position will work onsite or remote within 50 miles commuting distance from St. Inigoes, MD.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Experience supporting DoD or other Government financial management activities.

Experience with budget execution, financial reporting, reconciliation, and program/project financial tracking.

Ability to identify process improvements that enhance effectiveness, efficiency, quality, and cost performance.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to financial data accuracy.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and support time-sensitive financial requirements.

Ability to collaborate effectively with program managers, financial personnel, Government stakeholders, and other mission partners.

Familiarity with Government financial management processes, procedures, and documentation requirements.

Ability to work effectively in a mission-focused environment.

Full-Time Salary Range for this position:

$99,000 — $144,000 USD
