The Fire Alarm Support Technician Test & Inspect supports licensed and experienced technicians in the inspection, testing, and documentation of fire alarm systems, specifically within Test & Inspect operations. This role works under direct supervision of a technician(s).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• •Assist technicians with scheduled inspections and testing of fire alarm systems.
• •Support testing activities such as device activation, alarm verification, and system checks under supervision.
• •Help document inspection and testing results in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
• •Identify and report visible deficiencies or irregularities to supervising technicians.
• •Assist with preparation of tools, materials, and documentation required for inspections.
• •Maintain accurate records and ensure proper handling of inspection forms and reports.
• •Follow all safety procedures, NFPA guidelines, and company policies.
• •Maintain a clean and organized work environment on job sites.
• •Participate in on-the-job training to learn fire alarm codes, standards, and testing procedures.
• •Travel to job sites as required.
• •Other duties as assigned by management.

Education/Qualifications:

• •High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• •Prior fire alarm or industry experience is preferred.
• •Strong willingness to learn inspection and testing procedures in the fire protection industry.
• •Ability to follow detailed instructions and work under direct supervision.
• •Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and safety.
• •Must have a clean driving record and active driver’s license (if driving role).

Other Duties:

• •Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
• •Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements:

• •Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods.
• •Comfortable working in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.
• •Willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
• •Work is performed in occupied commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and construction sites.
• •Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites.
• •Use of basic hand tools and testing equipment under supervision.
• •Ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Compensation :

$25.00 hourly depending on experience
